An unlikely career progression has brought me back to where I started: Creating experiences that engage audiences, build businesses, and simply make people feel good.
I’ve worked with some great clients who’ve made nice comments about the work I’ve done for them. I’ve also received recognition, both nationally and internationally.
Most recently, I was the founder, President, and CEO of Minneapolis production firm, Flying Colors. In addition to running the business for 22 years, I led projects as a strategist, creative director, writer, director, composer, and executive producer. I also developed tools to measure the effect of media communications on target audiences. This work led to the creation of a proprietary measurement tool; eMotivateSM.
But I actually began my career in show business. As a working performer, I backed leading show business personalities, conducted touring companies of Broadway shows,
I majored in music at North Texas State University, where I played in and composed for the renowned 1:00 Lab Band.
I was twice named one of America’s Top 100 Producers by A/V Video Multimedia Producer magazine. I’m also a voting member of the National Association of Recording Arts & Sciences (The Grammys) and have served on the boards of several Twin Cities arts non-profits.
Away from work, I play solo jazz guitar, perform in Twin Cities jazz clubs, enjoy my home bordering Minnesota’s Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and raise a precocious tween daughter with my remarkably patient wife.
